About SmokingOn

SmokingOn is a research and discovery service that publishes destination smoking guides and, where available, SmokingOn Collection properties with structured smoking-policy evidence. Travellers may also use links to third-party accommodation and booking platforms. SmokingOn is not the accommodation provider or merchant of record for those outbound bookings unless a separate agreement says otherwise. SmokingOn may also offer optional assisted-booking or concierge services. These are separate from the ordinary guide and third-party referral experience.

Affiliate and third-party bookings

Some accommodation links may be affiliate or referral links. Clicking them may take you to a third-party booking platform that controls prices, availability, and booking terms. Generic third-party search results are not SmokingOn-verified and are not described as smoker-friendly unless SmokingOn has separate property-level research evidence in the SmokingOn Collection.

For ordinary outbound third-party referral bookings, the booking platform and/or property controls availability and pricing, and the applicable third-party terms govern the booking and payment relationship. SmokingOn is not the accommodation provider or merchant of record for those bookings unless a separate SmokingOn-specific arrangement expressly says otherwise. Optional assisted booking / concierge

Assisted-booking or concierge functionality, where exposed, is a separate optional pathway. Ordinary guide visitors are not treated as concierge customers merely by browsing guides or following third-party referral links. Where that optional pathway is used, any SmokingOn-specific pricing, fees, or coordination terms shown in that flow apply only to that pathway.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate request and contact information when you submit it.
• Follow property rules, house policies, and applicable law at all times.
• Use the service lawfully and respectfully.

SmokingOn Collection and property information

SmokingOn Collection information is based on researched and structured property-policy evidence available at the time of review. Evidence can change. Collection presentation does not override applicable law, does not guarantee future property policy or availability, and does not mean every third-party OTA property is SmokingOn-verified.

Legal permission, property permission, SmokingOn verification, and availability are distinct. Prior verification does not guarantee that smoking is lawful or permitted for a future stay. Host self-declaration is evidence or input for review; it is not automatic SmokingOn verification. Guests remain responsible for confirming arrangements that matter to them.

Guide information

SmokingOn guides provide travel information based on research available at the time of review. They are not legal advice. Laws, enforcement practices and property policies can change, and travellers remain responsible for complying with applicable law and current property rules.

Any SmokingOn Score™ or similar research-based indicator is provided as travel information and is not a guarantee of legal permission, property policy or availability.

Bookings and payments

For ordinary third-party referral bookings, cancellations, refunds and payment terms are governed by the applicable third-party platform and/or property.

Where optional SmokingOn booking or payment services are offered through an assisted-booking or concierge flow, the applicable pricing, availability, payment, cancellation and refund terms will be shown before you confirm the relevant arrangement.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform operation, or use SmokingOn for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.

Intellectual property

SmokingOn branding, website content, and curated presentation materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse them without permission except as allowed by law.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. SmokingOn does not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific outcomes, or that every listed preference can be fulfilled for every stay.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request acceptance of material changes.
